VoltViet is Vietnam’s green future, in English: an independent magazine covering the green economy, electric mobility, clean energy and the technology behind the transition, reported from Vietnam for a global audience. Our purpose is to present Vietnam, and the Vietnamese businesses building that transition, to the world at their best: a country worth watching closely and, on the evidence, a smart and attractive place to invest.
What we cover
Four desks carry the magazine. Green Economy follows carbon markets, green finance and the exporters learning to price emissions. EVs & Mobility tracks the vehicles, chargers and battery networks remaking how Vietnam and its neighbours move. Clean Energy watches solar, wind, storage and the grid. Tech & AI looks at the data centres, chips and software that the transition runs on.
Why we exist
Vietnam’s transition is one of the most consequential economic stories in Asia, yet the world still mostly hears it in fragments. We cover it whole: the factories and the grid, the chargers and the carbon market, the companies raising capital and the people doing the work. When a Vietnamese company earns a place on the world stage, we want the world to hear about it from Vietnam, in full and in English.
Making the case for Vietnam is the point of this magazine, and we make it the only way that lasts: with facts that check out. Nothing here is inflated, rounded up for effect or repeated untested. Credibility comes first, because a showcase nobody trusts promotes nothing.
How we work
Every story starts from primary sources: ministry circulars, company filings, exchange data and named reporting, cross-checked before publication. Figures are given with their units, and foreign currencies are converted so readers anywhere can follow the money. When we illustrate a story, the image is labelled as an illustration; when a number matters, we say where it came from. If a claim cannot be verified, it does not run, however good it would look.
Who publishes VoltViet
VoltViet is published from Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, by the team behind the Vietnamese publications Kỷ Nguyên Số and Góc Nhìn Xanh. VoltViet is the English-language edition of that reporting: the same sourcing discipline, written natively in English for readers meeting Vietnam’s transition for the first time.
