On 27 October, VNPT signed two cooperation agreements in a single day, one with Geleximco Group and one with ABBank. Digital technology will now reach factory floors, industrial parks, townships and banking services, not just telecom infrastructure.
Technology moves into factories and townships
Under the agreement with Geleximco, the two sides will prioritise research and deployment of cooperation opportunities in investment, production, business and the use of each other's products and services. The focus is on applying telecom and IT infrastructure and digital solutions to the management and operation of Geleximco's multi-industry ecosystem, from headquarters, offices and branches to industrial parks, factories, urban areas, resorts and retail points.
Beyond traditional IT solutions, the two sides will study private 5G networks, automation, AI cameras and IoT sensors in industrial production. These technologies are expected to improve monitoring, streamline operations and strengthen management across member units. The two sides also agreed to promote cooperation in finance and banking, share information on suitable investment opportunities, and study cross-promotion and cross-distribution of products and services within each other's ecosystems.

Banking meets telecom
On the same day, VNPT and ABBank signed a comprehensive cooperation agreement to connect banking services with the telecom and technology platform, and to develop new conveniences for individual and corporate customers. ABBank will provide account services, cash flow management, collection and payment, payroll and deposits for VNPT and its member units, along with credit, guarantees and corporate cards. VNPT staff will gain access to personal financial products such as cards, deposits, credit, insurance and priority customer service.
In return, ABBank will prioritise the study and use of VNPT telecom solutions, cloud computing, data centres, information security, digital signatures and the digitisation of operations. The two sides will also develop combined finance and telecom services, integrated service packages and customer incentive programmes, and study QR payments, automatic payments, open APIs, electronic identification, artificial intelligence and big data to connect financial services with the digital platforms customers already use.
Two promises, one message
Speaking at the signing ceremony, Vu Van Tien, founder of Geleximco Group and Chairman of ABBank, stressed that lasting value comes from connecting individual strengths into a common strength, and from turning commitments into concrete results that support businesses and the economy.
Huynh Quang Liem, CEO of VNPT, said the cooperation goes beyond VNPT supplying technology solutions and opens a new chapter of synergy across the commerce, finance and technology ecosystem. The combination of Geleximco's multi-industry strength, ABBank's financial capacity and VNPT's technology infrastructure is expected to build a lasting foundation for cooperation and to support Vietnam's digital economy and digital society.
