VNPT, the state-owned telecom group, is offering newly established businesses three free months of the digital tools they need for daily paperwork, according to the company. The zero-fee program also covers first-time users of its e-contract service and individual customers, and it runs nationwide from October 15 to December 31, 2026.

For international readers, the context is the paperwork load a Vietnamese company carries from its first week. A business is expected to sign filings and transactions with a digital signature, declare social insurance once it hires staff, and issue e-invoices whenever it sells goods or services. None of these tasks waits for revenue to arrive, so the cost of the software lands early, when a small firm can least afford it. Registration, tax and banking routines all assume these digital steps are in place.
The starter package waives three months of fees on three services at once. VNPT SmartCA provides the digital signature, VNPT BHXH handles social insurance declaration, and VNPT Invoice issues e-invoices, so a new company can run its signing, payroll reporting and billing on digital rails from the start. According to the company, SmartCA is already integrated with nearly 2,000 software systems and applications across banking, finance, e-contracts, education and health care.
A separate part of the program targets companies that still keep their contracts on paper. Businesses using VNPT eContract for the first time can have 1,000 paper contracts digitized free of charge and receive 5,000 MB of storage for three months from the activation date, the company said. Once digitized, the contracts sit in centralized storage for 10 years, which the company says makes search and contract management far lighter than a filing cabinet.

Individual customers are included as well, with three free months of the VNPT SmartCA digital signature for their own electronic transactions. VNPT also plans a follow-up promotion, called “Chuyển đổi số thông minh, Rinh quà công nghệ” in Vietnamese, roughly Smart Digital Transformation, Win Tech Gifts, with a top prize of an iPhone 18 Pro Max. The company says details of that promotion will be announced later.
The offer underlines the role a state-owned carrier plays in Vietnam’s digital economy push: putting state-backed tools into the hands of small firms at the moment they are formed, then keeping them as paying users once the trial ends. For VNPT, the cost is three months of waived fees; the return is a customer base that starts its life inside the group’s service ecosystem. Companies can check the eligibility terms and register through the onesme.vn portal or the 18001260 hotline, according to the company.
